Here's how to re-tune your television
As you must be aware by now, the local Beacon Hill transmitter and all of its relay transmitters have been switched over to digital. Because of this all digital equipment will need to be retuned. This is a simple guide to retuning digital televisions purchased from us.
Tuning instructions for JVC Televisions (models with DA9 or DE9 i.e. LT26DA9)
And HUMAX Televisions / PVR’s
- First ensure that your television is on DTV (Press AV and select DTV) Press MENU.
- Using the down arrow select DTV setup then press ok twice.
- Using the down arrow select installation then press ok (pin 0000).
- Using the down arrow select automatic search then press ok.
- When the scan is complete, press ok on save.
- Then press menu to exit (complete).
Tuning guide for all other JVC Televisions
- First ensure that your television is on DTV (Press AV and select DTV) Press MENU
- Using the down arrow select DTV setup then press ok twice.
- Press menu and select DVB, then press ok.
- Select installation, press ok, then select factory settings, press ok (pin 0000).
- Select YES, Press ok.
- Press ok on English, united kingdom, antenna power off and start scan.
- When 'scan complete' appears, press ok on YES (complete).
Tuning guide for Toshiba Televisions
- First ensure that your television is on DTV (Press AV button to the right of the 0 on remote).
- Press MENU.
- Using the down arrow select Auto tuning. Press OK.
- Press OK. Allow TV to search and when finished press MENU then EXIT.
If you do need us to call out, Our Service charge for two callouts will be £40 inc. VAT, but due to the high demand expected, some delays will be inevitable.
